What data we process
Only what you give us: your name, your phone number or email, and whatever you write in the message. If you make a booking, also the day, the time and the number of people. If you request a quote, the address where the job is and any photos you attach. We don't buy lists, we don't track your browsing and we don't build profiles on anyone.
What we process them for
- Answering your query by WhatsApp, phone or email.
- Managing your booking or order and letting you know if anything changes.
- Preparing a quote for you when you ask for one.
- Meeting the business's tax and accounting obligations.
Legal basis
Your consent, given when you write to us (article 6.1.a of the GDPR). For a booking, an order or a quote, performance of the contract or the steps you request beforehand (article 6.1.b). For invoices, compliance with a legal obligation (article 6.1.c).
How long we keep them
If the conversation doesn't lead anywhere, a year from the last message. Bookings and orders, for as long as needed to handle them and afterwards for the period the tax and accounting obligations require, which is six years. After that period, they're deleted.
Who we share them with
No one, for commercial purposes. Only the providers needed to make this work see them: whoever hosts the website, whoever sends the notification emails and the accountancy firm that handles invoicing. They all act as data processors and none of them uses your data for their own purposes.
Transfers outside the European Union
If you write to us on WhatsApp, that message is processed by Meta under its own terms and may leave the European Economic Area under the European Commission's standard contractual clauses. If you'd rather avoid that, use the phone or email instead.
Your rights
You can exercise these rights over your data at any time:
- Access
- Find out what data we hold on you and what we do with it.
- Rectification
- Correct anything that's wrong or incomplete.
- Erasure
- Have us delete it once it's no longer needed.
- Objection
- Object to us processing it for reasons relating to your particular situation.
- Restriction
- Have us keep it but stop using it while a complaint is resolved.
- Portability
- Receive it in a commonly used format so you can take it elsewhere.
- Withdrawing consent
- Withdraw it whenever you like, without affecting what was processed up to that point.
To exercise them, write to info@tamarindhill.ch saying which one you want to exercise. We'll reply within a month at most, and it costs you nothing.
Complaining to the supervisory authority
If you think we haven't handled your request properly, you can complain to the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos (AEPD, Spain's data protection authority), C/ Jorge Juan 6, 28001 Madrid, at www.aepd.es. Before that, if you'd like, write to us: it's usually sorted out in one email.
Cookies
This website doesn't use tracking or analytics cookies, so there's no banner to accept.
If you filter the menu by allergens, your browser saves that choice on your own device while the tab stays open, so you don't lose it when you change pages. It doesn't leave your device and it never reaches us.
